I just want to.... Hug this Mug

There is something so warming for the soul - quite literally - in a hot cup of tea or coffee but wrapped and encased in a gorgeous mug.

Mugs are just such a great Interior addition in life. They obviously are functional - filled with glorious goodness in the form of tea, coffee, hot honey & lemon, whatever takes your fancy. They also provide fantastic additions to an interior, whether on a wall shelf, window sill, or part of a central table display. If they are nicely designed, why not have them on show and part of a design story of a room.

The mug I am absolutely in love with at the moment is this little gem from H&M home. Great size - holds a nice amount of liquid. The handle is formed well so easy and comfortable to hold and use.

But aside from the practical qualities', the mug is totally gorgeous to look at. Made from stoneware, it has a raw pottery quality to the look and feel. Finished with an even splattering of paint all over the outside, that seamlessly blends into the inside too, its bold yet unassuming. It comes in 3 colours - a brown tone which is reminiscent of the pantone colour of the year Mocha Mousse. A bold cobalt blue which pops so nicely against neutral palettes and the latest addition is a fresh spring green, to brighten up those dull days.

The price point of this mug suits all budgets at £9.99 but H&M often have promotions on so you could pick it up for less.

I just had to start with this as a topic, as I have received so many compliments on these mugs and they are a talking point, and with a few of you round the table, they look so really fabulous as part of the crowd but also stand out on their own.
